Artuis has implemented security features throughout the Artuis website to prevent the unauthorized release of or access to personal data. Database information is kept separate from live servers and is firewall protected. However, please be advised that although Artuis has endeavored to create a secure and reliable site for you, the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to or from Artuis via the Artuis website or e-mail cannot be guaranteed. When disclosing any personal data via insecure methods, you should be mindful of the fact that it is potentially accessible to the public, and, consequently, personal data can be collected and used by others without your consent. Artuis has no responsibility or liability for the security of information transmitted via the Internet.
Data Privacy Framework Dispute Resolution
To the extent hyperlinks or banner advertisements incorporating hyperlinks are utilized to access third party websites, you should be aware that these third-party websites are not controlled by Artuis and, therefore, are not subject to this Privacy Policy. Artuis complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) Principles (“Principles”) formerly the EU-US Privacy Shield; as part of this, we have self-certified via the site administered by the International Trade Administration on behalf of the US Department of Commerce, that we adhere to the Principles of: Notice; Choice; Accountability for Onward Transfer; Security; Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation; Access; and Recourse, Enforcement, and Liability, with respect to processing personal data on behalf of our Customers established in the European Union. Artuis' self-certification to the DPF is subject to the investigatory and enforcement authority of the Federal Trade Commission.
